Well, it had to happen one day and I knew it was gonna come regardless of how I felt. Now it’s right on top of me.
Caitlyn Smith has worked for this newspaper since the summer of 2012. She has worked part time while attending College to become a RN. She has now completed her nursing school and will begin working at Nacogdoches Medical Center this week. She wants to thank Hilda Pena for teaching her so much about the paper and working around her crazy schedule. She also wants to thank Chad Pate for hiring her when he bought the paper.
Timpson's Jamie Moore participated in the Blueberry Festival 5K placing 1st in his age division and 15th overall.
Boy was I proud to be an American. There he was waving the American flag in a victory lap for his almost complete domination of the 1976 Montreal Olympics. Yep, Bruce Jenner was the idol of mocho America that reflected a ‘take-that/we-can-do-it’ spirit that permeated track and field sport ever since. His pleasant boyish personality aligned nicely with his masculine mannerisms that just made him a gravity attraction in any room he stood in.
