Tenaha City Council meetings moved to 5:30pm
The Tenaha City Council met at 5:15pm on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Municipal building. One agenda item approved was a motion to move all future regular meetings to 5:30pm, instead of 5:15pm.
In other business, the Council approved donating to the Tenaha Businessmen’s Club and Tenaha Together in the amount of $500 to help fund the July 4th Celebration.
Other agenda items approved included the following:
The 2019-2020 renewal of Employee Benefits Coverage with TML Health;
Resolution #2019-06-24 to remove former City Manager Natalie Harris from all signature cards on all bank accounts including LEOS, Rainy Day, and Christmas Club at First National Bank of Hughes Springs;
Resolution #2019-06-24 to add Mrs. Linda Vickery, Alderman, to the signature cards of the LEOS, Rainy Day, and Christmas Club accounts at First National Bank of Hughes Springs;
J. Ken Muckelroy Law Office to represent the City of Tenaha as City Prosecutor;
Declaring the 2012 Dodge Ram work truck “not to be repaired” in case of sale; and
Axley & Rode, LLP to conduct the year the audit for the year ending September 18, 2018.
The open session then adjourned at 6pm to convene in closed session to discuss employee matters.
