City of Tenaha becomes Sanctuary City of the Unborn


The Tenaha City Council held its regular meeting on Monday, September 23, 2019. There was a quorum present, despite the absence of Council members, Craig Gray and Lee Gibbs.

The Council heard Mark Lee Dixon of the Right to Life East Texas Group give a speech about his organization and the benefits of sanctuary cities, before adopting a resolution to declare Tenaha as a Sanctuary City.

August 2019 Financials.

Nomination of Amanda Treat to the Appraisal District Board of Directors 2010-2021 to represent Tenaha.

The 2019 Investment Policy.

Amanda Treat announced a meeting of Tenaha Together at Tenaha High School to be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

The open meeting adjourned into closed session at 6:14pm
