Landon Odom powered Bobcats at the plate and on the hill to a 15-2 victory over Timpson
Odom racked up three RBIs on two hits for Bobcats. He singled in the first and second innings. Bobcats got the win thanks in large part to Odom's dominant, 12-strikeout performance. Odom allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk over six innings. Seven runs in the opening three innings allowed Bobcats to easily put away Timpson . A two-run single by Odom and an RBI single by Coper Watkins during the first inning and a two-run single by Kenneth Andrews and an RBI single by Odom in the second inning supplied the early offense for Bobcats. Smith ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked four and struck out two. Bobcats matched its one-run third inning with one more in the fourth. In the third, Bobcats scored on a passed ball, scoring Travis Mason.
