Mount Enterprise ISD celebrated homecoming

Mount Enterprise ISD celebrated homecoming last week with dress up days, a pep rally, dance, parade, and fireworks.  The celebration began on Monday with a school wide Color War Day, Tuesday Twin Day, Wednesday Book or Movie Character Day, Thursday Super Hero Day and Friday Spirit Day.  Friday night concluded with a dance hosted by the Band Boosters.

On Saturday morning, students and the community rose early for the annual homecoming parade which included the marching band, grade level floats, the homecoming court, firetrucks, and more. A surprise excited the crowd as two fighter jets flew over the parade.

The pregame homecoming ceremony kicked Saturday evening off and Senior Courtney Parsley was crowned as Homecoming Queen.

The Wildcats concluded their evening with a victory over the Overton Mustangs 36-12, and a firework display above the footbal stadium.
