The Garrison Bulldogs Varsity drop high-scoring affair to Woodville 9-8

Ten hits weren't enough for the Garrison Bulldogs Varsity as it lost a shootout, 9-8 in seven innings, to Woodville on Friday.

T. Hollingsworth got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over 1 2/3 innings. T. Hollingsworth struck out three, walked one and gave up three hits.

Christopher Edwards was charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in six innings, walked three and struck out three.

The Garrison Bulldogs Varsity jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first. The Garrison Bulldogs Varsity attack began with a triple from Ty Hayter. A stolen base then moved Sean Slowikowski from first to second. A few plays later, Hayter stole home.
