The Garrison Bulldogs Varsity drop 13-2 game to Central Heights

The Garrison Bulldogs Varsity scattered four hits on Tuesday, but weren't able to push enough runs across, and lost 13-2 to Central Heights at Garrison.

Grayson Rodriguez got the win for Central Heights . He allowed two runs over six innings. Rodriguez struck out 10, walked three and gave up four hits.

Sam HaleyDuke Ellis and PR Johnson helped lead Central Heights . They combined for six hits and eight RBIs.

Carson Rodriguez was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked three and struck out five.

Central Heights went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Jackson Nichols and an RBI single by Brent Thomas.

One run in the bottom of the fourth helped the Garrison Bulldogs Varsity close their deficit to 5-1. An RBI single by Christopher Edwards fueled the Garrison Bulldogs Varsity's comeback. Rodriguez ended the inning by getting Luke Spivey to ground out.

Central Heights piled on four more runs in the top of the sixth. A single by Haley ignited the offense,, bringing home Johnson. That was followed up by Ellis' triple, scoring Haley and Zach Johnson.

One run in the bottom of the sixth helped the Garrison Bulldogs Varsity close their deficit to 10-2. An RBI single by Sean Slowikowski triggered the Garrison Bulldogs Varsity's comeback. Finally, Rodriguez induced an inning-ending strike out from Spivey.
