Timpson Wishes Kathy Ramsey a Happy Retirement

Kathy Ramsey has announced her approaching retirement to be effective January 31, 2017.  Kathy began her postal employment in 1988 as a Rural Carrier Associate at the Tenaha Post Office, where she delivered mail in the absence of the regular carrier.  After six years, she made the decision to become a career employee and transferred to the clerk craft in 1994.  She worked at both Center and Mt. Enterprise post offices before transferring and completing her career in Timpson.  In total, Kathy has been with the US Postal Service for 29 years.

Ms. Ramsey has stated that she will miss her co-workers and customers but has plans on spending a lot of time with her husband, Larry, and their 10 grandchildren.  In return, Postmaster George Youngblood has stated that she will surely be missed by the community.  Congratulations, and best wishes for the future!
