Sheriff's Activity in Garrison 1/30/2018 - 2/5/2018
On Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 6:59 p.m., deputies responded to the 800 block of FM 95 N for a criminal mischief complaint. The complainant advised his neighbor had cut trees then stacked them on his property. In doing so, a chain link fence was damaged. Both parties agreed to handle the situation.
On Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 7:28 p.m., deputies responded to the 700 block of Project Road for an assist complainant. The complainant was given a courtesy ride to another location due to him not feeling safe at his residence.
On Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018 at 3:22 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of CR 153 in reference to a theft. The complainant advised deputies that someone had stolen her debit card. Deputies advised the complainant of the information needed to file the report. The
complainant advised that she would contact the bank for the paperwork and cancel the card.
On Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 10:10 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to a civil complainant call at the 4000 block of CR 153. While in route, Nacogdoches Constables Office Pct. 1 took the call and disregarded Deputies.
On Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 10:44 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 5000 block of 5373 at FM 138 in reference to a traffic assist call. Upon arrival deputy assisted in traffic control while complainant towed his vehicle from the roadway.
On Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 5:52 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the area of FM 138 and CR 283 in reference to an abandoned vehicle. While en route, dispatch advised the vehicle had been moved.
A deputy was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center In reference to a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle that occurred in the 18000 block of FM 95 N. The complainant stated that someone had went through his work vehicle while it was parked at his residence during the night.
On Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:16 a.m., the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 700 block of CR 1571 in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, contact was made with the home owner, and everything appeared secure with an unknown activation.
On Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 2:59 p.m. A deputy escorted a funeral procession from the First Baptist Church in garrison to CR 3288.
On Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:40 p.m., a deputy spoke to a complainant by telephone in reference to a credit card abuse complaint. Complainant advised unknown subject(s) used her credit card information to make several purchases in Florida without consent.
On Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 5:28 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Francis Loop in Garrison in reference to a civil stand by. Upon arrival, the deputy stood by while the property was exchanged without incident.
On Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 6:11 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Francis Loop in Garrison in reference to a vehicle lockout. Upon arrival, the deputy unlocked the vehicle without damage. No further action taken.
On Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 8:19 a.m., a Deputy was dispatched to the area of the 3300 block of CR 283. It was reported that two white male subjects were seen walking in the area
in the early morning hours. It was later discovered that the two may have been involved in a wreck and were given a ride to a residence. At the time of this report it is not known if the duo is involved in any other matters.
On Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 10:31 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the Garrison Housing Authority in reference to a welfare check. A case worker with an out of State Crisis Line asked deputies to check on a person they were talking to. The man was contacted and given a transport to a local hospital for mental health evaluation.
On Monday, February 5, 2018 at 3:53 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of CR 262 in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the parties were separated, and both were interviewed. Both agreed to stay separated for the night and part ways the next day civilly.
No criminal charges were filed.
