Sheriff's Activity in Garrison: 10-3-17 - 10-6-17

On 10-03-17 at 10:07 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of FM 95 in reference to a 911 hang-up call in Garrison. The deputy arrived and found the home to be vacant.

 

On 10-03-17 at 11:01 a.m, a deputy was dispatched to the 1400 block of CR 127 in reference to reported fraud in the Garrison area.  The deputy arrived and found that an elderly female felt that she had paid too much for her vacuum. She was referred to her attorney.

 

On Tuesday 10/03/17 at 2:20 p.m, a NCSO Deputy was dispatched to the NCSO lobby in reference to an assist complainant. The complainant stated that he forgot his safe combination and needed deputies to verify some information. Deputies verified the needed information for the complainant.

 

On 10/04/17 at 12:19 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 500 BLK of USHY 59 S in reference to a law alarm. Upon arrival, the deputy found the building to be secured ground level. No key holder to respond. The deputy returned to service.

 

On 10-4-17 at approximately 4:48 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Linn Flat Road in reference to possible deadly conduct. The complainant stated that a subject pointed a firearm at him while walking down the road. A report was taken. 

 

On 10/05/2017 at 6:26 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of Hwy 59 in regard to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. No further action taken.

 

On 10/05/2017 at 12:11 p.m., deputies were dispatched to speak with a complainant by public service in regard to a harassment in the 500 block of W. Main Street. Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised a known subject is harassing her. The complainant wished for the suspect to be issued a harassment and CT warning. Deputies made contact with the suspect and issued both warnings. No further action taken at this time.

 

On October 5, 2017 at approximately 8:45 p.m., deputies responded to an assist complainant via phone for an address in the 20800 block of Hwy 59.  The complainant advised that there were issues between his child and the child's stepfather. The complainant did not want deputies to conduct a welfare check due to problems that it would have caused between them. He only wanted deputies aware of the situation. He advised that the child was not in danger.

 

On 10/06/2017, deputies were dispatched to the Garrison area in regard to a reckless driver. Deputies located the vehicle and made contact with the driver. Deputies learned the driver was and elderly female and made arrangements for the family to retrieve the her. No further action taken.

 

On 10/6/17 at approximately 9:51 p.m., a deputy observed a traffic hazard on us Hwy 59 n near CR 128. The deputy moved the deer out of the roadway and returned to service.
