Sheriff's Activity in Garrison: 10-02-2018 - 10-08-2018

On Tuesday at approximately 5:56 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of CR 127.  Deputies were meeting cps at the location for a child removal. While on location, deputies located a subject with an outstanding warrant. The subject was arrested and transported to the NLEC and released to jail staff without further incident.

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at approximately 5:20 p.m., the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 180 block of Cheryl Street in reference to a physical disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, it was found that the suspect had physically assaulted the victim and interfered with an emergency phone call. An arrest was made, report to follow.

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at approximately 5:40 p.m., while on an assault call, the suspect in the assault reported that a named subject had broken the window on the door of the residence to gain entry. Report to follow.

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at approximately 7:35 p.m., while at a disturbance in progress call in the 100 block of Cheryl Street, it was found that a subject on scene had multiple warrants for their arrest. An arrest was made, report to follow.

At 12:24 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of CR 283 in reference to a death investigation. Upon arrival, the complainant stated that her mother had just passed away. Deputy observed an elderly white female to be deceased in her bed.

On Thursday, October 4, 2018 at approximately 5:41 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 19000 block of US Hwy 59 N in reference to a welfare check. The deputy arrived and found there to be a vehicle broke down. Another subject stopped and helped tow the vehicle.

At 1:50 p.m., the Sheriff's Office responded to a possible stolen vehicle in the 1400 block of CR 262. The complainant/owner of the vehicle was not on scene to give information on the vehicle. Her relatives will make contact with her to contact the sheriff's office.

On Saturday, October 6, 2018, a deputy met with a complainant in the lobby regarding a theft of a cell phone. After speaking with the complainant, she advised she would contact deputies at a later time if she wanted to pursue charges.

On Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 6:55 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of CR 137 in reference to a criminal mischief call. Deputies met with the complainant and gathered information for a report. A vehicle was damaged while parked at Lake Naconiche Park. Deputies returned to service.

On Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 12:35 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 1000 block of FM 138 in reference to criminal trespass. A complainant stated that a person was at their house and wished for them to be trespassed warned. Upon arrival, the other party had already left the scene.

On October 7, 2018 at 6:40 p.m., deputies responded to FM 1087 and CR 153 for a tree across the roadway. TXDOT arrived and removed the tree.

On October 7, 2018 at 7:37 p.m., deputies responded to FM 95 and CR 289 for a cow on the roadway. The owner of the cow was notified, and it was removed.

On Sunday, October 7, 2018 at approximately 8:19 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of Hwy 59 North in regard to threatening. The deputy issued a criminal trespass warning to a known person of that location.
