FRIDAY 10/18/19 

Deputy Joshua Nagle responded to a store on FM 1970 in reference Deputy Joshua Na to a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival Deputy Nagle met with the complainant who stated that a male and female subject came into the store and stolen several items. Complainant advised that the surveillance camera shows the male subject approach the register, take a bag from the stand and proceed to go around the store placing items inside the bag. The male and female subject then left the store. This case is being investigated

Deputy Richard Mojica took a report of burglary that occurred at a residence in the Beckville area. Complainant stated that her daughter entered her residence without permission and put holes in the wall with a hammer. Complainant advised that the subject then stole a phone charger and some antique mugs from the residence. All information has been forwarded to the DA's office

SATURDAY 10/19/1

Deputy Joshua Nagle was dispatched to FM 1970 in reference to a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival Deputy Nagle met with a store employee who stated that a male subject had entered the store and stole a dual torch butane lighter. Complainant advised that the theft was caught on a surveillance camera and he was also able to get the license plate on the vehicle that the subject was driving. This case is being investigated

SUNDAY 10/20/19 

MONDAY 10/21/19 

Constable Bryan Murff took a report of theft that occurred. Complainant stated he signed a contract with a company to do some work at his house. Complainant advised that he gave this company a check for $1,500.00 and a car valued at approximately $5,000.00. Complainant stated the suspects then came back before any work had been done and wanted $9,750.00 more to get the supplies for the work to be done. Complainant stated that he has not been able to get in contact with the suspects since giving them the money and no work has been done at his property. Information was forwarded to the DA's office

TUESDAY 10/22/1

Deputy Travis Curry and Deputy Jeff Martin responded to a report of a burglary that occurred on CR 4353. Upon arrival Deputies met with the complainant who stated that when he came to check the residence, he discovered that some unknown actor(s) had kicked in the door to gain entry. Complainant advised that once inside, the actor(s) stole numerous items. Complainant advised that the actor(s) also packed items in plastic totes as if planning to return and take them. Evidence was collected at the scene and turned over to CID for further investigation


10/23/19 Deputy Jacob Samford initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for 

speeding. Deputy Samford then made contact with the female driver who advised Deputy Samford that she did not possess a valid driver's license due to her just being released from State jail. Deputy Samford 

had the subject exit the vehicle and after receiving consent, began conducting a search of the vehicle. While searching the subject's purse Deputy Samford located a white crystal like substance he believed to be methamphetamine loose throughout the bottom of the purse. Deputy Samford placed the subject under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and she was transported to the Panola County Detention Center. While at the Detention Center, Detention Officer Kassi Orbaugh located a small bag of suspected methamphetamine while searching the female subject. The subject was additionally charged with prohibited substance inside a correctional facility

Deputy Richard Mojica took a report of burglary of a vehicle that occurred on CR 279. Complainant stated that some unknown actor(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his Browning .25 caliber, semi auto, nickel plated handgun. This case is being investigated.
