Wildcats struggle in road game at Carlisle

The Mount Enterprise Wildcats struggled throughout Friday’s contest with the hometown Carlisle Indians varsity football team, and eventually fell 34-6.
Mount Enterprise now falls to 0-2 on the season and will look to reboung against the Union Grove Lions next Friday, September 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Wildcats Stadium. The lions are 0-2 as well after losing to west Rusk 36-7 and Carlisle 36-6.

Mount Enterprise Volunteer Fire Department celebrated new Engine 101

The Mount Enterprise Volunteer Fire Department (MEVFD) and community celebrated their new fire truck, Engine 101, with a traditional Push-In ceremony on Saturday, September 5th 2015 at 9:00 a.m.  Referred to by some as a “Push Back”, the ceremony dates back to times when horses were still used to pull fire apparatuses.
