TO:  ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN A MEETING OF THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF RUSK COUNTY, TEXAS

You are hereby notified that a regular session of the Rusk County Commissioners Court will be held on Monday, May 13th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the County Courtroom, First Floor, Rusk County Courthouse, Henderson, Texas at which time the following subjects will be discussed, considered, passed or adopted, to-wit;

PUBLIC HEARING:

The purpose of this Public Hearing is for public comment regarding the Rusk County Mitigation Plan.

COMMISSIONER'S COURT MEETING:

(1) Discuss and possibly approve budget amendments and/or transfers

(2) Open and possibly accept bid for the bank depository

(3) Open and possibly accept bid for the 60 X 100 pavilion for Rusk County Expo

(4) Discuss and possibly approve for Commissioner Pct. 2 Robert Kuykendall to lower speed limit to 30 mph on a section of CR 240

(5) Discuss and possibly approve the changes to the Employee Handbook and to the CDL Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy and Procedures Handbook

(6) Discuss and possibly approve to submit application to the Texas Department of Public Safety's Texas 1033 Surplus Property Program regarding authorization for receiving surplus property as requested by Lt. Kevin Roy, Rusk County Sheriff's Office

(7) Discuss and possibly approve to allow employees to have a fall picnic as presented by Allison Plunkett

(8) Discuss and possibly approve to allow Commissioner Bill Hale, Pct. 1, to go off of right-of-way on CR 141D to clean up tree that has fallen from County right-of-way onto private property

(9) Discuss and possibly approve the 2018 Rusk County Library System annual report

(10) Discuss and possibly accept a donation to the Mt. Enterprise Library in memory of Hazel Keeling

(11) Discuss and possibly accept donations of books and DVDs to Rusk County Library and McMillan Memorial Library

(12) Discuss and possibly approve to give Rusk County Library permission to accept reimbursement funds at $9.00 per item loaned to other libraries. Funds disbursed through direct deposit

(13) Discuss and possibly approve to give Rusk County Library permission to apply for grant to cover half of Kim Lehman's fee for summer reading program presentation

(14) Discuss and possibly approve the plat for the El Manecer Subdivision

(15) Discuss and possibly approve to cancel the current Mutual Aid Agreements for Rusk County Emergency Management and approve participation in the State Mutual Aid Plan as provided in Chapter 418 of the Texas Government Code

(16) Discuss and possibly approve employing an insurance evaluator

(17) Discuss and possibly approve the following Historic or Archeological Property Tax Exemptions: a. Evelyn Craig, 1011 S. Main - 2019 value, $288,410 b. Joseph L. (20) Discuss and possibly approve the following utility/pipeline request: a. Eastex Telephone Coop. proposes to place a copper cable under or along the right-of-way of CR 4245, in Pct. 4, Rusk County, Texas
