Mt. Enterprise Student news

Our athletes have been very busy. In softball, games were played on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Hudson Tournament. The girls gave it their all in their first showing of the season. Meanwhile, our boys’ basketball team was in Frankston where they fought hard during their last game of the season. In powerlifting, Mikey Grubbs placed 1st in his 275 pound weight class, while Creighton Rogers placed 5th out of 6 other competitors in his weight class of 132 pounds. Hugo Mejia, Todd Flanagan, Jacob Oswald, Riley Strawn, and Jaelan Linville may not have placed but tried their best. Our Student Council members have also been busy while preparing for their Spring Conference. The students have been organizing all of their worthy accomplishments over this last year in order to compete at the state level. Our Fine Arts Department recently went to the Rusk State Hospital for research. And last, but not least, FFA students went to San Antonia for their livestock showing. All in all, this was a pretty good week.
