Mt. Enterprise High School Theatre students participated in a clinic at Panola Junior College

On Fri. Feb. 9, Mt. Enterprise High School Theatre students participated in a clinic at Panola Junior College in Carthage for critiques of their upcoming performance of By the Bog of Cats.

After representing MHS at the University Interscholastic League's 2017 One Act Play State Meet last spring, Theatre students are in the process of preparing for this year's upcoming contests in March.

The One Act Play company attends several festivals prior to the competition dates in order to receive constructive criticism from some of the best educational Theatre professionals in the state. They will be competing in the 2018 One Act Play Contest at Panola College on the afternoon of Friday, March 9th, along with several other schools in the area.

The University Interscholastic League's One Act Play Contest is the largest Theatre festival of its kind in the world. Over 1200 Texas schools prepare a play for this competition each spring. These schools strive for one of the 48 schools in conference 1-6A representing their schools in the State Meet in Austin each spring.
