Jake Metcalf seeking the 2016 Republican nomination for Constable Precinct 4.
Jacob (Jake) Metcalf, 25, of Tenaha, Texas, is seeking the 2016 Republican nomination for Shelby County Constable Precinct 4.
Metcalf graduated from East Texas Police Academy in Kilgore in 2012 and worked six months for Shelby County Sheriff’s Office after graduation and just before moving his career to the Tenaha Marshal’s Office in October 2012. Metcalf left the Tenaha Marshal’s Office to work for Timpson Police Department. Metcalf has worked with Timpson PD since January 1, 2014 to present. Metcalf believes that his experience working under Chief Kent Graham at Timpson Police Department will be useful if elected Constable in Precinct 4. As constable, Metcalf commits to increase the law enforcement presence in the precinct and to being ready to answer a call day or night for anyone in need.
