Coach arrested for soliciting minor

   A Texas youth baseball coach was arrested Saturday after driving to Shreveport for the purpose of meeting underage boys for sex, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

   Christopher Scott Tyre, 26, of Center, Texas, was arrested in the 8500 block of Youree Drive at a location where he thought he would be meeting two juvenile boys and their father, Prator said.

Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports that on Monday March 16, 2015 Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Kurtes Lawrence, while on routine patrol in the Joaquin area, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on County Road 3315.  During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Lawrence received information that the driver has been known in the past to be in possession of narcotics.

SCSO Press Release - stolen vehicle located in deep ditch on a pipeline lease

Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports that on 3/5/2015 at 445am Deputy Cody Muse was dispatched to a 
 
logging operation on County Road 1170 in reference to a stolen 1994 Ford F350 work truck. Deputy 
 
Muse took the report and had the vehicle entered into NCIC/TCIC as stolen. At 700am Deputy Roy Bailey  
 
located the stolen vehicle in the parking lot at Campbell’s Grocery Store located on State Hwy 7 West.

Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports that on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputy Kurtes Lawrence while on routine patrol in the Joaquin area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Bruce Cohoon with passenger Tara Ann McBee.
