SFA Gardens’ Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series to feature Twinwood Farms president

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Stephen F. Austin State University’s SFA Gardens will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, in the Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, located at 2900 Raguet St.

Jonathan Judice, president of Twinwood Farms in Spring, will present “Tips and Tricks for Planting the Right Tree in the Right Way in the Right Spot.”

Judice received a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics and communications engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Prior to his position at Twinwood Farms, he worked for 10 years with Environmental Design, the largest tree-moving company in the world, where he served as executive vice president for almost five years. Currently, he is Twinwood’s operational manager for a diverse greenhouse and landscape operation with a mission of finding and developing suitable horticulture for the 21st century.

The Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series is held the second Thursday of each month and includes a rare plant raffle after the program. The lecture is free and open to the public, but donations to the Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series fund are always appreciated.

Parking is available at the PNPC and Raguet Elementary School, located at 2428 Raguet St.
