Joaquin no-hits Shelbyville!

The Joaquin Rams finished their 2015 varsity baseball regular season with a 4-0, no-hit, shutout over the Shelbyville Dragons last Wednesday. The District 23 2 game gave SHS a 6-8 final conference record and a 7-13 overall win-loss record for the season.

Murder Arrest

At about 9:10 P.M. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 the Panola County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a woman screaming that she had just shot her husband.  She provided the dispatcher with an address on Panola County road 121.  Panola County deputies along with Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the location.
