TENAHA - Mayor Johnson announces he will not be seeking re-election

I would like to start out by telling the citizens of Tenaha and the surrounding community that I have enjoyed the opportunity to serve as the Mayor of Tenaha. It is my hope that the people will view my tenure as positive for our town. Moving forward, I have decided that I will not be seeking re-election in the 2016 General Election.

Mt. Enterprise Library News

Every Wednesday the Mt. Timpson FFA students make projects for the community

 Timpson High School Ag students are excited about the CNC cutting table that Ag teacher Ty Cauthen is teaching them to use.The students do many projects throughout the year and some go to shows and put their projects in competitions to be judged. The students have started working on different projects for people in our community. These students do a tremendous job and are taught very well by thier ag teacher Ty Cauthen.

Texas Girls Coaches Association Announces 2019 Hall of Fame Inductees and Award Winners

The 2019 Hall of Fame inductees have been selected by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. The inductees will be honored at the Honor Awards Banquet in Arlington, Texas on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Arlington Hilton Hotel. Reception will be at 6:00 PM, and the Banquet will begin at 7:00 PM.
