What’s all the Buzz About?

Would you like to create a sustainable future in bees by raising bees in your backyard? Would you like to learn more about beekeeping and plants for attracting these beneficial insects?

The Shelby County Beekeepers Club will meet Wednesday, June 17th at the active Shelby County courthouse, 2nd floor meeting room from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.   Bring a sack lunch and come engage with other novice and expert local beekeepers as we share information on beekeeping. This month’s topic will include a demonstration of how to split a hive and pulling frames of honey.

Remember: Honey bees are a gardener's best friend; they pollinate fruit trees, vegetables and other garden plants plus provide a valuable product. . . HONEY!
