ON 04/04/2016, NCSO DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO THE COUNTY LINE AT STATE HIGHWAY 204 REGARDING A ONE VEHICLE ACCIDENT INVOLVING A DEER. DEPUTIES LOCATED THE ACCIDENT SCENE IN CHEROKEE COUNTY AND REMAINED ON SCENE UNTIL A DPS TROOPER ARRIVED ON SCENE. DEPUTIES THEN RETURNED TO SERVICE.
A16-00269 CRIMINAL TRESPASS
On 04/04/16 at approximately 0800 hours, Deputy Wright spoke with a complainant via public service in regards to a male subject continuously calling him and coming to his business and refusing to leave. This deputy spoke with the suspect and he was advised not to contact the complainant or come to his business anymore. No further incident.

On Monday 04-04-2016 a Deputy was dispatched in reference to an injured calf. Upon arrival the animal was located and believed to have been born with a severe deformity of it's legs. A16-00272 VIOLATION OF A PROTECTIVE ORDER
On 04/04/16 at approximately 1000 hours, Constable Sowell and Deputy Wright were dispatched to a Violation of a Protective order call. Upone arrival, these officers found a male subject in violation of a protective order. While placing the subject under arrest, he resisted. The subject was transported and released to Nacogdoches Jail staff without incident.

On Monday 04-04-2016 a Deputy was dispatched in reference to possible Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival it was discovered the TxDOT had removed an unapproved mail box. The complainant was referred to the local Post Office. Also, at the same property cattle were loose and had damaged fence. The cattle owner was contacted and notified of the loose animals. EOR

Subjects that seemed to have been representing a loan agency may have tricked the complainant into sending them money. On Monday 04/04/16 NCSO Deputy was dispatched in reference to an animal problem. The complainant stated she shot a stray dog for eating her chickens. The dog that was shot had multiple puppies behind the residence. Deputy set a dog trap for the puppies and will check the next day for the puppies.

ON 04-04-16 A STOLEN FOUR WHEELER WAS RECOVERED AT A LOCAL BUSINESS AFTER THE BUSINESS CALLED DEPUTIES DUE TO SEVERAL PEOPLE TRYING TO CLAIM OWNERSHIP. RTF.
On Monday 04/04/16 NCSO Deputy was dispatched in reference to a theft. The complainant stated she dropped her wallet at a known person's residence. Deputy took information for a report and this case is still active pending investigation.

ON 4-4-16 A NCSO DEPUTY LOCATED A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE PARKED AT THE CUSHING FAMILY DOLLAR AFTER HOURS. IT WAS DETERMINED NO CRIMINAL ACTIVITY HAD OCCURRED.
S16003125 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM
ON 04-04-16 AT APPROXIMATELY 2355 HOURS, NCSO DEPUTIES INITIATED A TRAFFIC STOP ON A PASSENGER VEHICLE FOR A TRAFFIC VIOLATION. A WHITE SUBSTANCE WAS OBSERVED BEING TOSSED FROM THE VEHICLE AS IT WAS PULLING TO THE SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. IT WAS LATER FOUND TO BE ILLICIT NARCOTICS. A SEARCH OF THE VEHICLE REVEALED DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. BOTH SUBJECTS WERE ARRESTED ON FELONY CHARGES AND TRANSPORTED TO THE NACOGDOCHES COUNTY JAIL WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

On Tuesday 04/05/16 at approximately 0151 hours Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 59 in the Appleby Community in regards to a welfare check. The complainant reported his special needs son had left the residence walking to Nacogdoches. Deputies located him on the walking on the improved shoulder of the Highway and returned him home.

On Tuesday 04-05-2016 a Deputy was dispatched to Shady Trail in reference to a sick call. A male subject was found unresponsive. He was transported to Memorial ER prior to the Deputy arriving. On 04/05/16 at approximately 1030 hours, Constable Sowell and Deputy Wright arrived and spoke with the resident in regards to a heater being taken from his rent house. These officers obtained information about the heater and who the tenants was that was living there at the time it was taken. Report to follow.

On Tuesday 04-05-2016 a Deputy was dispatched to the NCSO lobby in reference to a report of Debit card abuse. The complainant discovered 11 fraudulent charges on his Commercial Bank of Texas account. At the time of this report no suspect is known and the charges appear to have all been made over the internet. EOR
S16003149 LOOSE LIVESTOCK
On Tuesday 04/05/16 NCSO Deputy was patrolling Hwy 7 E and observed a black in color pygmy goat in the roadway. Deputy was able to capture the goat and was unable to locate an owner. The goat was taken to the Nacogdoches Civic Center for impoundment.
On Tuesday 04/05/16 NCSO Deputy was dispatched to the 6000 block of Hwy 59 south in reference to an alarm. Deputy was cancelled by alarm company while en route to the residence.

On Tuesday 04/05/16 NCSO Deputy was dispatched to FM 1878 in reference to loose livestock. Deputy patrolled the area and was unable to locate the livestock.

ON 04-05-16 AT APPROXIMATELY 1711 HOURS, NCSO DEPUTIES WERE DISPATCHED TO THE 300 BLOCK OF LAKEVIEW LN IN REFERENCE TO A CRIMINAL TRESPASS. On Tuesday 04/05/16 at approximately 1833 hours Deputies were dispatched in regards to a burglary alarm. Deputies arrived and found a open door. The residence was cleared and contact was made with the homeowner. No property was missing. No cause for the activation was found.

ON 4-5-16 A NCSO DEPUTY RESPONDED IN REGARDS TO A VIOLATION OF A PROTECTIVE ORDER. THE FEMALE COMPLAINT BELIEVES HE EX-HUSBAND WHO SHE HAS A PROTECTIVE ORDER AGAINST ARRIVED ON SCENE AND TOOK A VEHICLE. INSIDE THE VEHICLE WERE HER PERSONAL BELONGINGS. LATER IN THE INVESTIGATION THE DEPUTY OVERHEARD A PHONE CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE TWO WHERE HE WAS REFUSING TO RELEASE HER BELONGINGS UNLESS SHE MET WITH HIM IN PRIVATE WHICH IS ALSO A VIOLATION OF THE ORDER. A REPORT IS WRITTEN AND A WARRANT IS REQUESTED.

ON 04-05-16 AT APPROXIMATELY 2327 HOURS, NCSO DEPUTIES WERE DISPATCHED IN REFERENCE TO A DISTURBANCE THAT HAD JUST OCCURRED. THE COMPLAINANT STATED THAT A WEAPON WAS DISPLAYED DURING THE ALTERCATION. UPON ARRIVAL, DEPUTIES SPOKE WITH THE PARTIES INVOLVED, WHO STATED THAT THE ALTERCATION WAS VERBAL ONLY. THE PARTIES WERE SEPARATED.

ON MONDAY 04/05/2016 THE NACOGDOCHES COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WAS DISPATCHED IN REFERENCE TO A DISTURBANCE. UPON ARRIVAL IT WAS LEARNED THAT NO OFFENSE HAD OCCURRED AND IT WAS A VERBAL ARGUMENT ONLY.
ON 04-06-16 AT APPROXIMATELY 0430 HOURS, NCSO DEPUTIES WERE DISPATCHED TO A LOCAL SCHOOL IN REFERENCE TO AN ALARM. UPON ARRIVAL THE ALARM WAS FOUND TO BE CAUSED DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ACTIVATION BY AN EMPLOYEE. NO OFFENSE.
