Round My Table-05/23/19

Hello to everyone, pray all is well with each one of you and the weather we had Saturday night did you no harm. We had 4 1/2 inches of rain, but God was gracious to us no one was injured or had damage, all is good.

     Summer has arrived and I love my salads in this kind of weather. That is what I will be sharing with you today. Hope you find something you like.



1 pkg. (1 lb.) med. shell pasta

2 pkg. (9-oz.ea.) imitation crab meat, flaked

1 1/2 c. sour cream

1 1/2 c. mayonnaise

1 to 2 tsp. dill weed


Cook pasta according to package directions, rinse with cold water and drain. Place in bowl and add crab. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and dill; add to pasta mixture and mix well. Chill until serving. 8-10 servings.




2 1/2 c. cooked, chopped chicken

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 c. pineapple tidbits, drained

1/2 c. mandarin oranges, drained

1/2 c. slivered almonds; toasted

1/2 c. mayonnaise

1 bottle (8 oz.) Original Ranch salad dressing

1 1/2 c. cooked rice

3/4 c. sliced celery

3/4 c. small green grapes

Lettuce leaves


Gently toss all ingredients together except lettuce. Serve on lettuce leaves; garnish as desired.

*NOTE: Fat free mayonnaise and fat free ranch dressing may be used.




1 pkg. English muffins, split

1 stick butter, softened

1 T. mayonnaise

1 jar Old English Cheese Spread

3/4 pkg. Real Bacon Bits


Combine all ingredients and spread on each split muffin. Bake @ 350 degrees until brown. (Do not have to use all at once. 

fix as many as you like and keep cheese mixture in refrigerator). 




1 can mandarin oranges, well drained

1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, well drained

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1/4 c. lemon juice

1/2 c. coconut

1 container (8 oz.) whipped topping

2 graham cracker crust


Combine lemon juice and sweetened condensed milk; mix until thick. Add other ingredients, mixing slowly. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate until firm.
