We had a nice day for our church services, after the bad weather on Saturday. We were blessed that we didn’t get any bad storms.

We still have sick folks out and we are praying that they will be back with us soon. We added these people on our prayer list: Matte Grace Carter, Travis Rodgers, Glen Pilkington. Lynn Tatom Family and Charles Hooker.

Bro. Keith took his message from Amos 3:1-3. “Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, You have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Are we walking in the way of the Lord? Our nation is in great turmoil. They only thing we can do is pray and stand up for what we know is right. We must do as the prophets in the Bible and be doers of the word and carry God’s message. When our time has come will we be able to say as Paul did? “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course and I have kept the faith.”

Sunday night Kristi Keele was baptized. We are glad to have Kristi and children with us. Tina Barton was to be baptized also, but due to heath problems, she wasn’t able to be with us. She will be baptized at a later date. We pray she will be better soon.

Next Sunday night we will be having our Fellowship and recognize the members with birthdays in the month of May. This is something new we’ve started on the last Sunday night of each month. I think everyone enjoys it.
