Pat Bowden

My name is Patsy Ann Elizabeth Bowden I was born in Beckville, Texas on February 26,1945 My Parents are Earnest and Josie Methvin Fowler My Grandparents are William Franklin Fowler & Miranda Amanda Methvin James Elijah Methvin & Julie Dosia Hailey I had four sisters; Lorene, Corine, Earnestine, and Naoma. I had a brother David who died at the age of 10. I have a brother in Crockett, Andrew Fowler and a brother in Rusk, Sam Fowler No nickname, everyone just always called me Pat, except my Daddy he called me Lizabeth. I graduated from Carthage High School in 1964 I met and married Jimmy Bowden in 1967. I was working at the Shamrock Cafe in Tenaha. He was in from a pipeline job and happen to come in the cafe. Jimmy passed away in March 11,2007 I have two sons: Eugene who is 42. and Robert is 35. If I have a hobby, I guess it would be gardening, I like to see things grow. And I do geneology. Can't say I have a favorite food, I like about anything. I don't like hominy and not to crazy about liver. I like County music and good Gospel music. I like old movies, I like old Westerns I like to read novels, some history. I don't watch much TV, to much trash on. I do like some Cooking Shows, I watch RFD TV, The History Channel every once in a while, And I like the Halmark Channel. I like football, my favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys, of course. My life hasn't been that eventful. When I was growing up, the only place us kids got to go was church and school. My Dadddy was a preacher and my parents were very strick and very protective. I do appreciate the upbringing that I had, it has made me the person I am today. The biggest change in my life was when I got married, it was so different from what I was use to. I'd have to say the thing I am most proud of are my boys. When God gave them to me I gave them back to him and ask him to take care of them. They grew up to be fine youg men. I really haven't had any great accomplishments. I'd like to think I've be a good mother to my children, a good grandmother to my grandchildren ,and a person my friends can count on. If I could live my life over, I'd like to be that little girl who didn't have to worry about anything because I knew Daddy would take care of things.
