(1) Bill O’Neal will speak  for the Wednesday, May 15, 2019 meeting of the Timpson Area Genealogical and Heritage Society (TAGHS) at 2 p.m. at the Timpson Public Library on 520 Austin Street in downtown Timpson.  For more information, call the Genealogy Room at the Timpson Library at (936) 254-2966.  (2) “KTRE-TV and the Double H Ranch” will be the topic for the program for the next meeting of the Angelina County Genealogical Society, when it meets at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019 in the Community Meeting Room of Kurth Memorial Library on 706 South Raguet Street in Lufkin, Texas.  KTRE-TV was established in 1955 with Richman Lewin serving as its first general manager.
