Ramah News - January 7, 2018

It seems that the new year has brought a flu epidemic, We have several

of our members are sick with it, We pray that they will be back to normal soon.

We had a good service with some visitors. We had one to join our church by moving

her letter. She is, the daughter of Connie and Lewis Johnson. We're always glad to

get new members.

We added these names to our prayer list: Linda Andrews Family, Pat Broyles, Detria

Fulmer, Rhonda Samford, Marie Williams, Ronnie Strickland and Wayne Baker.

Bro. Keith took his message from Matthew 11:28-30. "Come unto me, all ye that labor

and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;

for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is

easy and my burden is light." This is an invitation to follow him. He will give us rest, peace

and  streneth if we follow him. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ s

strengtheneth me." John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the

world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." 1Peter

5:7 "Casting all your cares upon him; for he careth for you." And 2Corinthauns 5:9 he says,

My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness." If we follow Christ

he will not only supply our needs, he will always be there for us.

January 17th, which will be on a Wednesday night, Bro. Tony Evans will be with us.

He is associated with Mission Voice Network. This supports the missionaries from India, like Bro. V

and others. He will update us on the progress they are making there.

Bro. Keith and Valerie will be on vacation from the 11th to 14th. They celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary this week. Cord and Harry will be filling in for Sunday and Wednesday night services.
