Orval Miller to Speak to TAGHS about Fox Hunting in Shelby County

The red fox, not native to East Texas, was first introcuced here in 1959 and it wasn't long before fox hunters and their dogs were spending nights in the piney woods hunting them. Among those hunters was life-long Timpson resident, decorated Viet Nam veteran, and “all-around good guy” Orval Miller. Miller was introduced to fox hunting while attending Timpson Public Schools and it was soon “in his blood”. Over the years Miller and his dogs established a national reputation in the sport. Mr.
