Things To Consider

In the spirit of Christ I give a heartfelt greeting to all. Since this covid epidemic has come into our lives, I have found the time to pressure my passion for the art of oil painting. I have even found time to meditate and consider many things that affect my life and the life of so many people throughout this land. My attention has fallen upon a great cancer that has taken hold throughout this land and the world. That cancer is hate, and this hate runs dangerously through our land, and the world. The thing I want all to consider is simple, what is gained by hating? Jesus made this hate come to life when He told of the good Samaritan, a people that the Jewish community hated going as far as despising, not just because they were not Jews, but because they believed that the Samaritans were an inferior race of people. If one would go back and read the book of Genesis paying close attention to the last verse of chapter one where God said that all He created was “GOOD”  one must understand that God did not say that all is good except.  The action of hating is a choice, not a privilege, so I ask all just what does one gain by hating? Now consider what one loses by hating. I urge all to take the time to read the sixth chapter of Matthew paying extreme attention to verses 14 and 15.  V 14 For if you forgive men their trespasses ``trespass; a sin, an actionable wrong against another’s person, property or rights, or an action for damages arising from this.”  your heavenly Father will also forgive you: BUT if you forgive not men their trespasses, NEITHER will your Father forgive your trespasses. Another thought to consider is simple, if our father does not forgive us then how are we supposed to enter into heaven to be with our Father and loved ones since sin cannot enter into heaven?  For the act of hatred, what do you really lose?
